0.32.0-beta
Beta6 July 2026Instant map, small UI fixes
Changed- The Find a Bay map now appears instantly instead of showing a loading box; the yards drop onto it as they load.
Fixed- The notification count sits centred in its badge.
- The "sites across the UK" tag no longer covers the "Book this bay" button when a yard is open.
0.30.0-beta
Beta6 July 2026Driver login fix, branded emails, map fit
Fixed- Drivers invited by their transport manager can now log in normally. A password-hashing mismatch meant invited drivers' passwords were rejected until reset; that's fixed. (Drivers invited before this update should reset their password once.)
- The "Find a Bay" map now fits the screen and the "Book a bay" button is always visible, even with the impersonation banner showing.
Changed- Emails now carry the ParkSafe logo, use info@parksafenetwork.co.uk, drop the "2 working days" line, and sign off with "Thanks".
- The driver dashboard button now reads "See booking".
0.28.0-beta
Beta6 July 2026ParkSafe branding in the app
Changed- The driver app now carries the ParkSafe logo - the app icon, splash screen and web favicon, plus the logo on the sign-in and home screens.
0.27.1-beta
Beta6 July 2026Clearer, more readable app
Fixed- Made the app easier to read: the tab bar and the "request a booking" card are now clean, solid, high-contrast panels instead of the grey glass effect that washed out the text.
0.27.0-beta
Beta6 July 2026Impersonation returns you to admin
Changed- Stopping impersonation now takes you straight back to your admin dashboard instead of the login page - no signing back in.
Fixed- A driver marked "delayed" by a yard is no longer wrongly reported as a no-show.
- The app now uses UK time for "today", so late-night bookings always show the right actions.
0.26.0-beta
Beta6 July 2026Liquid Glass, no-shows and a live board
Added- The mobile app uses Apple's Liquid Glass on iOS 26 (with a clean fallback everywhere else) and switches to minimal, single-colour tab icons.
- Drivers can request a booking (their manager is notified) and cancel a booking from the app.
- Missed bookings are detected automatically: if a driver never arrives, the yard and driver are notified.
- The arrivals board is now live - it updates on its own as drivers arrive, and keeps no-shows visible until you deal with them.
Changed- "Support" is now called "Notifications" on both the website and the app.
- The app home is richer and every booking shows what actually happened (checked in, completed, no-show).
Fixed- The app back button always returns you to your bookings instead of ever closing the app.
0.25.0-beta
Beta5 July 2026Arrivals board, cancellations and delays
Added- Operators get an arrivals board: see who is booked into your yards tonight, their live status and ETA, and assign a parking bay.
- Mark a late driver as delayed (which pauses new bookings for them), or close a booking as a short day pass.
- Yards and fleets can now cancel a booking, and the driver is notified straight away by app, push and email - with no penalty.
- A Support and notifications page on the web dashboard, with an unread bell, so you never miss an arrival or ETA.
- The yard is notified when a driver arrives or when another company books into their site.
Changed- The mobile app shows readable dates ("5 Jul 2026"), asks you to confirm before "I have arrived" / "I am leaving", shows your assigned bay and ETA, and renames Alerts to Support.
- The mobile back button now reads "Back".
Fixed- Cancelled bookings no longer show as "confirmed" in recent activity.
0.24.0-beta
Beta5 July 2026Test the arrival call from anywhere
Added- Admins can now simulate an arrival call from the dashboard: type a driver's number and, if they have a booking for tonight, the system places the real call to the yard, just as it would for a genuine arrival. Handy for testing without dialing the UK number.
0.23.0-beta
Beta3 July 2026Password field improvements
Added- Every password box now has a show/hide button so you can check what you typed.
- When the owner creates a user, they can set a password directly or leave it blank to auto-generate one.
Fixed- Changing your password now gives a clear message if the current password is wrong, with a pointer to Forgot password for code-only sign-ins.
0.22.0-beta
Beta3 July 2026Confirm arrival by phone
Added- Drivers can now confirm arrival by phone as well as in the app: the number to call is shown on the dashboard, booking screen and mobile app, ready to tap and dial. Companies see it too, to share with their drivers.
0.21.0-beta
Beta3 July 2026Park Safe Driver: the mobile app
Added- A mobile app for drivers: see tonight's booking at a glance, navigate with Google Maps, Apple Maps or Waze, tell the yard you are on the way with a one-tap ETA, and check in and out at the gate.
- Booking alerts on your phone: a notification the moment parking is booked for you, and a reminder on the afternoon of your stay.
- Yards now get a heads-up when a driver is on the way, with the expected arrival time, booking reference and bay.
0.20.0-beta
Beta29 June 2026The doors are open
Changed- Every button on the public site is now live: sign in, request member access, and list your site all lead to the real pages. The pre-launch placeholders are gone.
0.19.1-beta
Beta17 June 2026Coverage map on the landing page
Changed- The homepage map now shows coverage markers across the UK again to illustrate the network's reach. Exact site locations remain visible to members only.
0.19.0-beta
Beta17 June 2026Brand favicon and social share image
Added- Sharing a Park Safe Network link now shows a clean branded preview image: a white card with the logo centered.
Fixed- The browser tab icon (favicon) is now the Park Safe Network logo on every device, replacing the leftover default icon.
0.18.0-beta
Beta17 June 2026Landing page set to pre-launch mode
Changed- While the network is invite-only, the buttons on the public site that open the app (sign in, register, book, list your site) are shown but switched off, with a clear disabled look. The menu links that scroll the page, and the Privacy and What's New pages, still work as normal.
0.17.0-beta
Beta10 June 2026Privacy policy and an honest landing page
Added- A privacy policy explaining what data the platform holds, why, who processes it and your rights under UK data protection law, linked from every footer. The platform uses only an essential sign-in cookie, with no advertising or tracking.
- The membership application now explains how your details are used before you submit.
Removed- Placeholder network figures on the public site: the decorative map pins and member counts are gone until they can reflect the real network.
0.16.0-beta
Beta10 June 2026Onboarding for new members and drivers
Added- Before applying, new companies now see a clear walkthrough of how the network works, from application to a driver parked for the night, including the automated arrival call: the driver dials the yard's number, the system finds their booking from their phone number, and the yard is told they are on the way.
- A short welcome tour on first sign-in, tailored to companies and drivers, showing where everything lives and what to do when a driver arrives. It shows once and can be skipped at any time.
0.15.0-beta
Beta10 June 2026Beta ready: all demo data removed
Removed- All leftover demo content is gone: sample notifications, sample yard reviews, demo sign-in shortcuts and placeholder figures. Anything still cached in your browser from earlier versions is cleaned up automatically on your next visit.
Changed- The Reports page now shows your company's real booking activity: monthly volume, top sites, and driver activity.
- Yard detail screens show the real bookings made at that yard, and booking counts across the dashboard come from live records.
- Your monthly booking capacity on the booking screen now reflects your company's actual record.
- When an administrator finishes viewing the platform as another user, they are returned to their own sign-in for security.
0.14.0-beta
Beta10 June 2026Security hardening and real account details
Fixed- Settings now shows your real account details instead of demo placeholder values that could appear regardless of who was signed in. Your email and company name are shown as fixed identity; your display name saves properly.
- The top-rated sites panel on the admin overview now shows real ratings instead of a placeholder.
Changed- Tightened who can see and change what across the platform: booking lists, driver lists and yard lists are now strictly limited to your own company, only the right people can cancel a booking, and reviews always require a completed stay.
- The admin yard dialog now shows the site on a small map instead of coordinate numbers.
0.13.0-beta
Beta10 June 2026Live status, impersonation, and faster listings
Added- A live status panel on the owner dashboard showing who is signed in and active right now, refreshing automatically.
- The owner can now step into any account, including master admins, straight from the users list, and return safely to their own sign-in when done.
Changed- The booking screen now checks whether the list of yards has changed before downloading it again, so returning to the page is faster and uses far less data.
- The yard list itself is leaner: only the details the page actually shows are sent over the network.
0.12.1-beta
Beta10 June 2026Going live on Railway
Added- A full Railway deployment guide that walks through setting up the project, entering every environment variable, running database migrations on each deploy, and pointing the email, payment, telephony and sign-in services at the live web address.
Changed- The app is now ready to deploy straight to the cloud: it regenerates its database client automatically on install, runs migrations as part of each deploy, and pins a supported version of Node.
Fixed- A cloud build error on the driver bookings list that only showed up on a fresh build, so deployments now compile cleanly.
0.12.0-beta
Beta9 June 2026First-run setup and secure handover
Added- A one-time first-run setup screen where the owner claims the developer seat with an allowlisted email and a password. It locks itself once an owner exists and turns away any email that is not on the allowlist.
- A handover checklist on the owner dashboard that prompts you to create the client's master admin.
- A handover guide in the setup docs, with a table of which settings to switch when going live on the client's own accounts.
Changed- Public self-service sign-up is now closed: the public sign-up endpoint is turned off and every account is created by an administrator. Signing in (by password or the owner's 6-digit code) is unchanged.
0.11.2-beta
Beta9 June 2026Admins and developers can edit yard access numbers
Added- Master admins and developers can set or edit any yard's automated-access phone number from the admin Yards page. Operators continue to manage their own yards' numbers from their dashboard.
Changed- Rewrote the Twilio setup guide in the README with clearer activation steps and an explicit explanation of the two numbers it stores: each driver's phone number and each yard's access number, and who can edit each.
0.11.1-beta
Beta9 June 2026Operator access numbers are now editable
Added- A new update for yard listings that saves the site access phone number in standard international format (admin or the owning company).
Changed- Operators can save or change a yard's automated-access phone number from the Yard detail screen at any time, not only when first listing the yard.
- Driver numbers are unchanged: they still save as before.
0.11.0-beta
Beta8 June 2026Owner control centre
Added- A private owner dashboard with whole-system stats, trend graphs, and a transactions view.
- Passwordless sign-in for the owner using a 6-digit code sent by email.
- The owner can create any account, including other administrators.
0.10.0-beta
Beta8 June 2026Faster navigation, consistent buttons, and the arrival-calling system
Added- Instant loading feedback when moving between pages, so nothing ever looks frozen.
- Automated driver arrival calling: a driver dials one number and the site is notified with their booking and bay (activates once the phone number is connected).
Changed- Buttons across the platform now share one clean, consistent style.
0.9.0-beta
Beta8 June 2026One membership, one login, free during launch
Added- One login for everyone: signing in takes you straight to the right dashboard.
- A single company dashboard that combines managing your yards with booking, drivers, and reviews.
Changed- Park operators and trucking companies are now one membership: every member offers spaces in their own yard and books spaces across the network.
- Registration is a single application covering both your yard and your fleet.
- Free to use during launch; payment has been deferred to a later phase.
Fixed- Removed the Direct Debit and monthly fee prompts while the platform is free.
0.8.0-beta
Beta3 June 2026First beta of the Park Safe Network platform
Added- Secure sign-in with four roles: admin, park operator, trucking company, and driver.
- Admin portal to manage companies, operators, drivers, bookings, leads, and tasks.
- Operator area to list parking sites and manage yards, bays, and site instructions.
- Trucking dashboard to manage drivers, book parking, and track fair-usage allowance.

- Ratings and reviews for parking stays.
- Direct Debit subscriptions through GoCardless.
- Image storage on a fast content delivery network.
- Public marketing site with a live network map, and this What's New page.
Changed- Reorganised the codebase so it is easier for new developers to navigate.
- Moved all existing images onto the content delivery network.
Fixed- Corrected the GoCardless connection used during testing.
- Image uploads now report real errors instead of failing silently.
- Removed leftover preview pages that were not part of the live site.
